COMO The Treasury occupies the 19th-century State Buildings at Perth's geographical center, known as 'point zero.' The 48 rooms and suites feature custom-made beds with Egyptian cotton, travertine stone tiles, and oversized windows. Options include City Rooms with courtyard views, Heritage Rooms with extra-large en-suite bathrooms, and Treasury Balcony Rooms with French doors opening onto north- and east-facing balconies. The Cabinet Suite, once the government's Cabinet Room, retains wood panel detailing and truss ceilings.
Rooftop and Italian Dining
Wildflower restaurant serves a farmer-and-forager-driven menu based on indigenous six seasons with views of the Swan River. Post offers Italian classics with seasonal ingredients and COMO Shambhala Kitchen principles. Cape Arid Rooms host afternoon tea with blends inspired by Western Australian parklands. The State Buildings also contain Long Chim for Thai street food, Wine Merchant, Beer Corner, and Lola Underground for late-night cocktails and European small plates.
Pool and Wellness Center
COMO Shambhala wellness center includes a heated indoor pool in reimagined 19th-century vaults. Treatments combine eastern and western traditions, with options like guided meditation sessions. Facilities include a gym with Peloton bikes and Technogym equipment. Guests can book wellness consultations and workshops with Sodashi founder Megan Larsen.

The hotel stands at the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street, a 20-minute drive from Perth Airport. It's steps from Cathedral Square, the City of Perth Library, and Perth Town Hall. Cottesloe Beach is a 20-minute drive, Kings Park Botanic Gardens is a 20-minute walk, and Northbridge's cultural institutions and Southeast Asian restaurants are 15 minutes away.

The hotel offers an exceptional experience with its spacious and well-equipped rooms, a calming change from the usual 'hotel lux' style, one of the best we've ever stayed in. The service is impeccable with friendly and accommodating staff, an upgraded room, and delicious meals at Wildflower. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city within walking distance of various attractions. The dining experience is lovely, offering a good selection at reasonable prices.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were the largest I have ever experienced, very clean, and incredibly comfortable, equipped with great facilities that surpassed most suites. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Heritage room from the City room I had initially booked. The rooms were truly spectacular and light-filled, exuding luxury in a beautifully minimalistic manner, with everything set up perfectly.
The hotel is located in the heart of Perth, boasting spacious rooms with exquisite decor and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The service was exceptional, offering great suggestions for exploring the city. The dining experience at the Post restaurant was delightful, serving delicious Mediterranean dishes. The central location, relaxing therapy room, and top-notch facilities make it a perfect choice for my future stays in Perth.
